BEFORE I START LET ME SAY ONE THING. I DON'T DO OUR MEMORIALS BY NUMBERS. WE ARE A GROUP THAT HAS BEEN GIVEN THOUSANDS OF MEMORIALS DUE TO THE FAG PERSON DON'T WANT TO DO ANY LONGER OR DUE TO THE DEATH OF THE FAG PERSON. MOST OF THE MEMORIALS ARE RELATIVES OF OURS.
THANKS

I'M NOT LIKE MOST PEOPLE ON HERE. I FIGURE THE MORE INFO ON A MEMORIAL COULD REALLY HELP IN A FAMILY CRISIS AS IT DID WITH MY FAMILY. THE MORE YOU KNOW ABOUT YOUR FAMILY'S HEALTH COMES INTO PLAY A LOT. SOMETIMES SOME FAMILIES DON'T KNOW THIS BECAUSE OF EVERYONE BEING SILENT OR SECRETIVE. I WELCOME ALL THE PICTURES IN THE WORLD. IF YOU HAVE MORE THAN 5 PICTURES I WILL ADD THEM FOR YOU!!!!! I THINK FAG IS A GREAT RESOURCE WHEN IT COMES TO FAMILY TREES. THE MORE SHARED WILL HELP THOSE WHO COME AFTER US KNOW THEIR FAMILY BETTER. HOWEVER, PLEASE DON'T PUT ANY PICTURE OF SOMEONE IN A CASKET. THANKS.

I ALSO WON'T DO SOMETHING FOR SOMEONE WHO IS VERY NASTY TOWARD ME OR MY GROUP. SO UNDERSTAND MANNERS MEAN A LOT. PLEASE AND THANKS GO A LONG WAY !!!!!!!

THANKS
CIGI

I USE CAPS DUE TO THE FACT MY RETINAS ARE DYING. SO I SEE A LOT OF BLACK. SO DON'T GET OFFENDED BY THIS.
**********************************************************************

ALSO TO LET PEOPLE KNOW I USE MY PICTURES OFF MY CAMERA OR MY ANCESTRY PAGES. SOMETIMES THEY DO GET MIXED WITH OTHER PEOPLE'S PICTURES. IF I DO USE THEM I GIVE THAT PERSON CREDIT. IF I USE ONE OF ANOTHER PERSON BY MISTAKE THAT IS WHAT IT IS............ A MISTAKE. I'M SORRY FOR THAT. PEOPLE DON'T NEED TO GET NASTY. THEY CAN BE A HUMAN BEING, POLITELY ASK IF IT CAN BE REMOVED.
USE YOUR MANNERS YOU GET ALONG IN THIS WORLD BETTER.

WE ALSO USE OBITS FROM NEWSPAPERS. SO IT IS ANNOUNCED TO THE PUBLIC, AND THEREFORE WE USE ALL THE INFORMATION IN THAT OBIT. ANYONE CAN GO ONTO A COMPUTER AND PULL UP ANY INFO ABOUT ANOTHER. IT CAN BE IN THE NEWSPAPER, OTHER FAMILY MAY GIVE THAT INFORMATION, GOSH YOU CAN EVEN PULL UP A SOC SEC # ON THE COMPUTER. I DON'T USE THAT INFO!!!!!!!!!!!!!

THANK YOU AND ENJOY. I HOPE THAT ANYTHING WE PUT ON HERE HELPS OTHERS OUT TO FIND FAMILY. BEFORE PUTTING ANYTHING ON OUR MEMORIALS IT IS RESEARCHED. HAPPY GRAVING.

A LIMB HAS FALLEN

A limb has fallen from the family tree. I keep hearing a voice that says, Grieve not for me.

Remember the best times, the laughter, the song. The good life I lived while I was strong. Continue my heritage, I'm counting on you. Keep smiling and surely the sun will shine through.

My mind is at ease, my soul is at rest.
Remembering all, how I truly was blessed. Continue traditions, no matter how small. Go on with your life, don't worry about falls I miss you all dearly, so keep up your chin. Until the day comes we're together again.

I CAME UPON THIS SEVERAL TIMES IN MY TRAVEL OF FAG. I THOUGHT I'D SHARE IT LIKE THE OTHERS.
Dear Ancestor
Your tombstone stands among the rest; neglected and alone,
The name and date are chiseled out on polished marbled stone.
It reaches out to all who care, it is too late to mourn.
You did not know that I exist. You died and I was born.
Our blood contracts and beats a pulse entirely not our own.
Dear ancestor, the place you filled one hundred years ago
Spreads out among the ones you left,
who would have loved you so.
I wonder if you lived and loved. I wonder if you knew
That someday I would find this spot, and come to visit you.

The Dash Poem (By Linda Ellis)
I read of a man who stood to speak
At the funeral of a friend
He referred to the dates on the tombstone
From the beginning...to the end

He noted that first came the date of birth
And spoke the following date with tears,
But he said what mattered most of all
Was the dash between those years

For that dash represents all the time
That they spent alive on earth.
And now only those who loved them
Know what that little line is worth

For it matters not, how much we own,
The cars...the house...the cash.
What matters is how we live and love
And how we spend our dash.

So, think about this long and hard.
Are there things you'd like to change?
For you never know how much time is left
That can still be rearranged.

If we could just slow down enough
To consider what's true and real
And always try to understand
The way other people feel.

And be less quick to anger
And show appreciation more
And love the people in our lives
Like we've never loved before.

If we treat each other with respect
And more often wear a smile,
Remembering this special dash
Might only last a little while

So, when your eulogy is being read
With your life's actions to rehash...
Would you be proud of the things they say
About how you spent YOUR dash?

We little knew that day that God was going to call your name;
In life we loved you dearly, in death we do the same;
It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone.
For part of us went with you, the day God called you home;
You left us peaceful memories, your love is still our guide;
And though we cannot see you, you are always at our side;
Our family chain is broken and nothing seems the same;
But as God calls us one by one, the chain is linked again.

Life is just a stopping place, A pause in what's to be, A resting place along the road to sweet eternity. We all have different journeys, Different paths along the way, We all were meant to learn some things, but we were never meant to stay. Our destination is a place, Far greater than we know. For some the journey's quicker, For some the journey's slow. And when the journey finally ends, We'll claim a great reward, And find an everlasting peace, Together with the Lord.

Some things I'd like to say, but first of all to let you know that I arrived okay. I'm writing this from Heaven where I dwell with God above, where there's no more tears or sadness there is just eternal love. Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night. That day I had to leave you when my life on Earth was through. God picked me up and hugged me and He said I welcome you. It's good to have you back again you were missed while you were gone as for your dearest family they'll be here later on. I need you here so badly as part of My big plan, there's so much that we have to do to help our mortal man. Then God gave me a list of things He wished for me to do and foremost on that list of mine was to watch and care for you. I will be beside you every day and week and year, and when you're sad I'm standing there to wipe away the tear. And when you lie in bed at night the days chores put to flight God and I are closest to you in the middle of the night. When you think of my life on Earth and all those loving years, because you're only human they are bound to bring you tears. But do not be afraid to cry it does relieve the pain remember there would be no flowers unless there was some rain. I wish that I could tell you of all that God has planned but if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand. But one thing is for certain though my life on Earth is over, I am closer to you now than I ever was before. When you feel the gentle breeze or the wind upon your face, that's me giving you a great big hug or just a soft embrace. And when it's time for you to go from that body to be free, remember you're not going you are coming here to me. And I will always love you from that land way up above. Will be in touch again someday. P.S. God sends His Love.
