I have been researching local history for more years that I wish to admit! My husband's family came to the Chewaucan and Summer Lake Valley's in current Lake County, Oregon about 1868. His family arrived in Oregon in the 1840 in the Rogue Valley and in 1850 in the Willamette Valley. We have done extensive research.
