RE: Catherine "Kitty" Haynes
I no longer remember the faulty logic I must have followed when I posted Kitty as the wife of Joseph Weathers Smith. I have no problem removing Joseph as her husband. Will that address your concern? If there are more corrections to be made, just let me know. Thanks for writing.

Dawn Carraway Horres
Birdie Burt Thornton
I am Birdie Burt Thornton's great granddaughter, Dawn Carraway Horres. My mother is Mary Jo Lunsford Carraway still living. Her mother was Grace Thornton Lunsford and her mother was Birdie.

I don't know anything about my family except the three sisters that my grandparents had; Linda, Ann and my mom.

Odessa Boggs
In regards to her parents and her maiden name. How can her maiden name be Burt if her parents are John Gunter and Mary Elizabeth Bennett Young Gunter? Doesn't make sense? Can you explain?
Best regards.

RE: Milton Lee Downer
Lee was raised by my Aunt Addie. My mother was her youngest sister. It has been my hope that a family member
would get Lee a free Government marker to be placed at Mallorysville. I understand that he was a member there.
Barney Frank D has a marker there. Betty S. and I have talked about this. NAH

David LeSueur ~ #46384609
"He was christened January 30, 1704, French Church, Soho Square, Threadneedle Street Church, London, England." Could this date be confused with the date given for his "DOB" (Oct. 30th.)? Thanks for sharing!

What I your source regarding his "month (Oct.) and day (30th)" of his birth and his death to be 1771 (not 1772)?

I hope you are as excited to find a reference to your Revolutionary War Soldier relative as I was. Cheers!
