Find a Grave ID

Bio

I am interested in multiple families, most of whom are in the Ohio/Pensylvania/Illinois area. Primary last name interests: Barth, Dillhoefer, Dister/Diester, Eckhardt, Hanna, Ilg, LeComte/LeCompte, Litle, Martin, Nunn, Poux, Robinson/Robison, Schier/Scheer/Schear, Steyer/Stier, Sutton, and Westfall.

All photos I post of grave markers were taken by me. I give permission for anyone to use these photos. Nothing makes me happier than to see something I added be utilized in a family tree.

Any portraits will say under the portrait whether or not you have my permission to repost. Giving me credit is appreciated, primarily because I may have similar photos and it's useful for people tracking down their tree.

I love how with Findagrave you can essentially connect the world. It is one of the few places where a whole family tree can be found - without duplicates - and I think that's amazing. I therefore have started adding ancestors and distant relations of mine whose burial locations are known, and submitting edits to connect existing memorials to their family.

I really work hard not to spread misinformation, so let me know if you think anything I have is incorrect. I do my best to ensure all edits I submit have the sources to back them up, but of course I am not infallible. I'm happy to discuss edits so that we have the most accurate memorials possible.

Thanks for reading, and feel free to contact me at any time with questions you may have. Genealogy is my passion, and I am more than happy to help out with anything - brick walls, research tips, etc. I would make this my living if I could. Nothing makes me happier than to help someone discover a part of their Ancestor's story.

You may find my family tree on Ancestry as well. It's called the Ilg-Martin Family Tree. All sources are cited.
