The Shamrock Genealogical Society meets the 2nd Tuesday Evening of the month in the Zeigler House at 205 N. Madden St, Shamrock, TX 79079.
The Pioneer West Museum owns Dr. Zeigler' home where he lived and practiced medicine in the early days in Shamrock and they have designated a room for the Shamrock Genealogical Society to keep records and information. It is open to the public Monday-Friday afternoons and we welcome visitors.

Genealogical Society began a project to photograph the headstones of burials in the Shamrock Cemetery in 2011. In taking the photos, volunteer members have surveyed the cemetery, adding burials which were missed earlier, and updating information as much as possible.
