Bio

I have been researching my family & my husbands (John William English) family for over 30 years. My parents were born & raised in Tennessee. They moved to Indiana when I was 3 weeks old & are buried in Indiana. Johns father is from Illinos & his mother from Indiana. I have a data base for my genealogy files with over 90,000 entries. I have over 20 file cabinets with obits, birth, wedding, etc. announcements that I have collected from newspapers for over 20 years. I clip everything hoping someday they will connect to someone in my data base.

On the first of each month I e-mail "IMPORTANT DATES" to my mothers family, my dads family, & both sides of John family. This encludes birthdays, anniversary, and In Memory Of. Each posting also shows name, birth date, parents, grandparents, great grandparents. My family really enjoys these each month. This also helps me to keep my records up to date & to make sure the information I have is correct. If I have missed someone or if something is incorrect I get an e-mail with a correction.

I also have files on facebook. Everyone enjoys these. I have connected to a lot of family members on facebook.

I love genealogy and collecting all the information I have. It's like a giant puzzle trying to find all the pieces.

My husband & I have been married for over 40 years and have one son & 2 grandchildren. For our retirement we started raising buffalo about 19 years ago. Our web site: englishsbuffalofarm.com
