I grew up with family. We attended family reunions annually for a couple branches of my dad's families. I have been around genealogy my whole life. Somewhere along the line, I started caring about the fact that I could trace one of my family history lines back to the court of Charlemagne! There were keepers of those family histories and I finally decided that I should digitize that information. I've got several published books on family histories and I started entering all my data on Ancestry.com. Somewhere along the line, I ran across FindAGrave.com and found so much valuable information and made some connections in my husband's family line that I never thought possible. This site is such a valuable resource and I am dedicated to making it the best site it can possibly be.

Recently, after entering hundreds of names in one of my lines and working on connecting them all to FindAGrave Memorials, I was fortunate enough to make a trip to Lancaster County, PA with my mother and visit most of the cemeteries in which I'd been "living" for weeks. It was a very moving experience. Thank you to all the contributors who are dedicated to the success of this site and to the creators of the site. I'd especially like to thank those photo contributors who have been helping me fill in the blanks with photos over the past several months in and around Lancaster, Berks and Cumberland Counties.
