Bio

I am retired from a 40 year State Farm Insurance Agency career. I live in Tempe, Arizona with my wife Janet. We have raised 6 children and currently have 23 grandchildren. We are both serious about our genealogy hobby of tracing our lineages. We travel to the sites of our ancestors homelands and build websites showing all we have learned. We also actively seek out the final resting places of our ancestors and create a memorial of their lives for their descendants to find and learn more about their common heritage.

I have served for three years as an active volunteer & webmaster at the Mesa Regional Family History Center and then as a missionary volunteer assisting patrons with their family history interests. After serving for nearly 10 years the Mesa Arizona FamilySearch Library will officially close on September 16, 2018. A new FamilySearch Discovery Center will be built and replace it in about December 2020.

My Foster lineage goes back from Arizona to New Mexico to Texas to Arkansas to Missouri to Kentucky to Virginia to England to Flanders, Belgium. I am researching the surnames of Foster, Moore, Elliott, Thornton, Gale, Thompson, and Kartchner with about 30,000 linked family names.

I am willing to transfer memorials to you that I am not personally related too. Just ask.
