I am in a quandary over one of the stones which I photographed. The name on the headstone is "Macinnes" but all documentation seems to be McInnes. Do you know or have a preference as to which it should be?
|B Chisholm||Mary MacKenzie|
Hello David, Is is there a head stone for Mary MacKenzie # 182096564 or any of her family there. I believe this is the wife of Kenneth Chisholm b.1826 who I believe is buried at Kilmur Easter. Thanks for your help with this. Bob

Hi! I'm just writing this in reference to your photo requests for William and Emily Ward in the Old Cemetery at St. Germans, Cornwall. I just uploaded a photo of the stone onto their memorials. However, I only had it cropped from a general photo of the cemetery --- so, I uploaded it as an "other" photo, which means you should be able to re-set your photo requests in hopes of a larger photo. I'm just going through any photos people have sent to me from that cemetery, because I figure as many photos as possible are a good thing. From what locals have told me, the cemetery is in very poor condition, totally overgrown and uncared for and not in a way to last many more years.
Hi - I also wanted to mention that the headstone or footstone is in the row in front of Alexander and Elizabeth Mackie.
any help you can provide to solve the mystery is most appreciated.
- Thanks -

I have a photo of what looks like possibly a footstone or ? with the initials W. M D and K. M D than the date either 1703 or 1705
I'm wondering if you can search the database where you found the transcriptions of markers at the cemetery and see if you can solve the mystery.
Thanks for doing all that you are doing!

|Ron Spurr||C. Eusebius JANES|
II checked my photographs from yesterday and found a C. E. Zeb Janes, 1888-1983, and wife Hazel M. Dolbear JANES, 1892-1958. The "C. E." match and the years match. This must be him so I am posting the photograph in response to your request.
|Ron Spurr||Charles Eusebuis Janes|
I searched the JANES site yesterday and found Charles' parents but no sign of him. There is an asterisk beside his name in the cemetery index which could mean no gravestone. The date of death is June 12, 1983.
There are 14 JANES in Watford Cemetery. There are six or seven at a completely different site in Watford Cemetery. They include a Charles JANES 1877-1932, which id different one than you are looking for.
I will send you a list via e-mail, with the dates so you can determine if there are any more you would like photographed. I prefer to do them all at one time rather than taking the one hour round trip over and over again.
|Ron Spurr||RE: William JANES, Watford Cemetery|
I've located the gravestone. I haven't taken the photo but, as I said, will find it and photograph it before the end of the month. I'll photograph all of the JANES' gravestones that are at that location.
|Ron Spurr||William JANES, Watford Cemetery|
The William JANES listed in the cemetery index has the dates 1858-1927, husband of Mary McGillicuddy JANES, Range 16, Lot 12. The dates you have are 1860-1927. I will assume they are the same person and will endeavor to locate the gravesite for you and photograph it before the end of September. If this is NOT the correct person, please advise accordingly.

Thanks David, I'll do that.
