I live in "Oak Hill Community" Lancaster County, South Carolina, which is home and I have family connection with: Wright/West/Whitaker/Threatt/McManus in Lancaster and Chesterfield county SC and Mills/McCoy/Deese in Union County NC/Chesterfield County SC.

Within 2 days of posting an old photo here of a Great Uncle of mine, I received a response from a cousin in Phoenix AZ that I am not sure if I ever met when we were very young, but I did know his mom and so very fond of his grandmother who was a cousin and close friend of my family.

This has been the greatest find and surprise for me to find someone as interested as I am in the heritage of our families and all the connections and stories of our ancestors.
