I am a direct Holdeman descendant via:
John & Elizabeth [Barrick] Holdeman >
Christian & Christiana [Buzzard] Holdeman, etc.
I am terminally ill so if you want management of a memorial I have, please let me know.
I inherited a large number of Holdeman photos, obituaries, etc & my goal is to post as much of it as possible to memorials, Ancestry.com & MyHeritage.com so it will be available to interested parties. If you have a question about a Holdeman, ask. I might be able to help or provide info that may help you with your research.
Everything I post may be freely copied, distributed or used WITHOUT my permission.
IF I post something you do not like or disagree with, please tell me. I will remove it. The only time I might disagree is if the memorial is for my relative and I feel the posted info is important.

I'm glad to see my work has benefited somebody.

Thanks so much for your message.
After photographing the stones in the Old Pawlet Cemetery years ago, I became interested in some of the families, one being the Pomeroy's - very distant kissing cousins of your Charlotte (their common ancestor is Medad - quite a way up the food chain!) So, when I run across other Pomeroys in Rutland County, I photograph their stones and do the research that links (or doesn't) link them.
I've also been tracing the Buttons, because they were one of the early families of Rutland County, and also because I spend my summers in their neck of the woods - at our summer cottage in Wells, VT. Blossom's Corners is only about half a mile from our cottage. Nathan's line was based, as you know, in Clarendon, on the other side of the hill from us. And Nathan's mother, Hannah Kinne was the sister of my husband's direct ancestor Joseph Kinne (both children of Asa & Bethiah Kinne).
Seems like all the families in that area are related in something like Indra's Net. The searching, finding, and photographing never end.

Thank you for the edit, providing links to Charlotte's parents and her first husband Nathan Button. Your information matches mine and I will make the edits, but I'm going to decline the actual edit so that I can link husband Nathan in the proper sequence. Without the date, he'll show up as the second spouse.

You had great details. If there is anyone in Mosier cemetery that I manage and are you family I would be glad to transfer.

Thank you for the edits. Just wondering if you are related. Warren married my grandmother's sister. Take care.
