|Am a White family researcher, for our Robert White Sr 1743-1843 of Union Co SC. Have been on the trail since mid 1990's. And travelled to many places where our ancestors migrated. Have done extensive research on all of the surviving children of Robt Sr, and many of the allied families of each. |
The memorials I am managing are all related to our lineage.
Feel free to email me about our family. If you are related to some of our memorials, and would like a transfer, or update, let me know, and your relationship, will be glad to satisfy your request.
Our White family married into many of the old families of Union and Spartanburg Co SC, migrating to GA, AL, MS, TX and beyond. My Elias White settled in Bowie County Texas in 1846, and the descendants, number into the many hundreds, today. Getting them represented on Find A Grave, and linked is a goal of mine...
In the process my hope, is that we can spark an interest in our family research, and we can all help each other, expand our family tree's.

|Steven M Gibbs||RE: Gibbs|
Mike, My family four "Gibbs" left South Carolina early 1800 into Vienna Alabama, Pickens County. Thomas, Linville, George, and John. I have been having problems getting into South Carolina. Because the Court House in Pickens County was burned down twice. Once about 1865 and then a few yrs later. I think I came from the Thomas side. The first prof I have is Elbert L. Gibbs 1832 to early 1900. Born in Vienna Alabama. Died Falls county Texas. Elbert came to Texas about 1888. George and John from above not sure what happen. Linville line I believe came to Texas. The Davis cemetry in Texas has White and Gibbs in it. The Linville Gibbs side.

Just wondering if you live close to Mount Zion cemetery in Doddridge, Ark?
You had taken a photo of Sarah Ann Elizabeth Bailey Sexton's headstone, but it had a lot of greenery on it and was difficult to read.
If you live close, would you please take another photo with the headstone cleaned off? If not, I will try to get someone else to take the photo. I had a request posted for while, but no takers.
Also, someone else took the photo for (as I had listed) Sarah H. Price Sexton and stated that the middle initial was E. and the birth date did not match mine. Would it be possible for you to clean it also and take a new photo?
Want to thank you very much for all your work on this site. It is appreciated.
