Bio

I was born in Denver Colorado and didn't get interested in my ancestry until I moved to Sargent, NE and learned shortly after that my grandfather was born near where I moved and that the original Wilmoth homestead was within 25 miles of where I live. My geneology journey has not been an easy one as my Grandfather was orphaned and adopted and my Grandmother on the other side was shipped off between families and never adopted. It has been a challenge.I am a school nurse for about 900 students during the school year and a clinic nurse in the summers. I love scrapbooking, spending time with my family, walking the cemeteries with my dogs and being a grandma.I live in a very large county and I try to fulfill as many requests for headstones in my county as I can. Some of the cemeteries are 70 miles or so from my home and some are not cared for and I find myself walking in knee high weeds and grass trying to find the stones. Bug bites, cactus, poison ivy, snakes, I never know what I might run into. Almost all of the cemeteries do not have a directory. It isn't always easy but I do the best that I can. If I have a memorial that you would like transferred please contact me and ask...if it is not my close relative I would be happy to transfer. The pictures I take are a gift to you to use, post or share. I am a member of the cemetery board for Mount Hope Cemetery.
