Thanks to all the volunteers who have made this site so helpful to researchers. I have been researching over 30 years with my roots going back many generations in several WV counties. My most recent ancestors were in Ritchie, Wirt and Roane Counties, but prior to that I had ancestors in Greenbrier, Hampshire, Nicholas and other counties, now part of WV. Although I was born in WV, I've lived in Florida for over 50 years, so I have to rely mainly on libraries and the internet to keep researching my ancestors. My website is devoted mainly to my WV heritage.
