Reuben Silver - Find A Grave Memorial# 75334973

I have been researching my uncle, Reuben Silver, who was KIA in World War 2. Someone that was helping me came across the record that you created in 2011 of my uncle's grave in Bayside Cemetery. First of all, I want to thank you for that, as it really gave me some interesting new information.

How did you come to create that record? Did you know him? Or did someone ask you to find it? If so, I would love to get in touch with the person that requested it.

RE: Bayside Joseph Cohen

I hope you are well. I wanted to inquire, if you ever get to Glendale. And if so, are you ever around Knollwood Cemetery. The reason is my Grandmother, Great Uncle and Aunt are buried there, and I have had not reply to my photo request on this board. If you are not able I understand, however if so, here are their names and locations.

Lillian Cohen

Plot: Block H, Lot 10, Grave 4
Knollwood Park Cemetery
Glendale Queens County, NY
Lee Perelman

Nathan Perelman
b. 1904, d. 1961

Thanks again

RE: Rubin Rosenberg
No, the parents are not at Bayside. The father's Hebrew name was Shaya (Yishaiahu), his English name Charles. The mother's Hebrew name was Gittel, her English name Kate (Catherine). The family used the names Rosenberg and Rosenbaum interchangeably so the grave stone could be for either name. For example, Charles' Death Certificate says Rosenbaum, but the grave stone says Rosenberg.

RE: Peyser Plot at Bayside
No, I'm not related. The name that was given to this memorial caught my eye.

The only info is what is on the memorial.

Thank you for attempting to find the plot.

Thank you for the photos for the Alexander's and your note about the fallen stone. I'm happy to connect them with their son's memorial in Colorado.

RE: Dorothy Solomon
Thank you for trying. Her husband was Morris Solomon (1883-?)

I will have to hunt for more info myself.
