Bio

I have been working on my family tree for over 40 years. There are over 40,600 names in it, with the concentration on the names Bittenbender, Brensinger, Gery (or Geary), Rader (or Roeder) and Reichl. I have also branched out to cover prominent families in Emmaus and Allentown, Pa. such as Trexler, Knauss, etc. My point of reference centers around Berks and Lehigh counties in Pa., although it branches out, mostly in eastern Pa., but across the entire U.S. I am also doing research on Irish and Italian families in the Scranton area, which is a real challenge. I have one missing link from Lehigh/Berks Co....Jacob Bittenbender (born in 1815 and died in 1863) who was married to Sarah Wagner. If you ever find his tombstone or record of death PLEASE PLEASE let me know. I also printed a Bittenbender-Gery volume of my notes and it is available at the Schwenkfelder Library in E. Greenville, the Public Libraries in Allentown, Emmaus and Macungie, and the Kutztown University Heritage Center. I'm always open to new or corrected info. Thanks.
