I have been working on family histories since 1965 loving every minute of it, thanks to a letter I got from my grandfather telling me of his life. This is long before computers, we used pencil and notebook paper. We, being my husband and myself dragging along two kids which they didn't seem to mind. We have traveled all over the country going to cemeteries, court houses, libraries etc, tracking the ancestors down. After all these years we decided to help you all by adding as many memorials as we can. If you have questions please feel free to ask. If I have made any mistakes, please let me know.|

|Roberta Grissum||John & Eliza Williams|
I am trying to locate direct descendant of John & Eliza Williams. Are you one of those descendants?
(granddaughter of James T and Stella M Grissum nee Arnold and great granddaughter of Levi and Jeannittie Arnold nee Hurt who are also buried at New Salem in Prairie Home, MO.)

At Walnut Grove cemetery, you have placed a death certificate on her memorial, but it's the wrong Mittie. Will you delete it.

Thank you for wonderful work you do on the Hurt family in Missouri. I've been researching Jenkin David Hurt and his wife Lucinda (Potter) Hurt. I am, however, having difficulty determining her date of death and place of burial. I note the inscription you've provided regarding the marriage at his memorial, but I see no suggestion that she is buried there with him. Can you offer me any help on this? Any suggestions? Thank you.
Steven Stuart Hurt

Hello! I noticed you placed a R.I.P. add on my great grandfather William Thomas Thompson's page and wondered if we are related. He is buried at Farris Cemetery in Moniteau county, MO. My email is firstname.lastname@example.org. Brenda Thompson Kuensting
When a person dies, I check to see if they have been posted, (not months & years while they are still living.) I post them. Posting while they are STILL LIVING IS WRONG!!!óDONíT ASK ME TO DELETE MINE IF THE DUPLICATE was posted while they were STILL LIVING.

I was wondering if you are interested in copying an excerpt from his 2006 obituary. I came across my mother's which was in the same issue of the Juneau Empire and noticed Mr. Marshall's also there. He had retired from the Coast Guard in 1961, remaining in Juneau. I was raised in Juneau, and had met my husband there after having graduated from Coast Guard boot camp in Cape May, NJ. He retired in 2008, after 30 years! Small world.
I did try emailing you, but it bounced back - if you would like this excerpt, feel free to email me. Thank you!

I would also like to request permission to use the photos in memorial 103964458 for Arthur Glenn Wyant in familysearch.org and Ancestry.com.
Arthur is a great uncle through Dorothy Wiant Blair.
