I am a wife, mother, and grandmother.|
My passions in life are my family, genealogy,
I started climbing my family tree when I was twelve, and haven't stopped yet!
Many of my ancestors came to America for religious reasons. I have traced them through
just about every war that America has taken part in.
"Turning Hearts" comes from the last verse in The Old Testament, Malachi 4: 6.
QUOTES AND POEMS THAT I LIKE:
It is a second death after you are forgotten.
How many generations does it take, even in a close knit family, for the fabric to unravel....?
Albert Lewis, Jewish Rabbi
"The bitterest tears shed over graves are for words left unsaid and deeds left undone." Harriet Beecher Stowe
"And death hath come upon our fathers; nevertheless we know then, for a Book of Remembrance we have written among us, according to the pattern of God." Moses 6: 45-46
"It isn't the date on either end that counts
But how they used their dash
For that dash between the dates
Represent the time they spent alive on earth.
And now only those who loved them know
What that little line is worth."
William Elliot Dudley
Those we love, don't go away
They walk beside us every day
Unseen, unheard, but always near
--Still loved, still missed and
WHAT CANCER CANNOT DO
Cancer is so limited..
It cannot cripple Love
It cannot shatter Hope
It cannot corrode Faith
It cannot destroy Peace
It cannot kill Friendship
It cannot suppress Memories
It cannot silence Courage
It cannot invade the Soul
It cannot steal Eternal Life
It cannot conquer the Spirit
Cancer is so limited!
Transition by William Cullen Bryant
So live that when that summons
comes to join
The innumerable caravan which moves
To that mysterious realm where each
His chamber in the silent halls of death,
Thou go not like the quarry slave
Scourged to his dungeon, but, sustained
By an unfaltering trust, approach
Like one who wraps the draperies of
About him and lies down to pleasant

Blessings toward you and yours, TurningHearts...and sorry that DeForest Flowler was not found; there is plenty of room for him by parents and brother Grove so I suspect he's unmarked with them, but their lot is lovely with those fall-blooming trees!
|Louis Roth||RE: Florence Feeley|
this is a tough cemetery on Find A Grave as GRAVES uploaded tons of records but included folks who were not even buried there ....
|Louis Roth||RE: Florence Feeley|
there is No headstone.
This person was cremated by the services offered at Cypress lawn.
You can check with the office to see if a family member collected the remains.
|Wendy McIntosh||Walter's in Quaker Cemetery|
Transferred some of the Walter's to you.
I did not transfer Mary (Artley) Walter as she is a relative, but feel free to send me any edits you might have.
|Jessica Chyko||RE: Sarah Grace John Langfield|
Yes- It definitely was tall! Glad to help!
|Gravehopper1012||Don Diego Herbert|
Hi, I noticed you have a request open for Don Diego Herbert with a note about Lucy Margaret Sweat Herbert. Are you looking for her headstone also? Or just his? Please let me know. Is like to research this for you.
|The Bull||RE: Rev. Thomas Jefferson Jackson Wright and family|
Please do not delete his page you will lose the links and information you have already done.
Only the person who created the memorial for him can do the edits. First you have to be logged in then look for edit just above the name of the cemetery it looks like this the edit is in blue.
then follow the prompts. It will move the page to Lawnside Cemetery.

|ankenycat||RE: Mary B.Allison Clark|
No problem and you're very welcome.
In case you are interested, I just added Mary's obituary to her memorial.
|Wendy McIntosh||John family|
I can't just make up graves. If you know the locations n and dates of birth & death I can connect them. Otherwise quit sending me corrections that don't have any data. I am not going to go looking for the memorials.
