I am an avid genealogist, having begun when I was age 14, in 1979. My father's family from Rockingham Co, NC ; going over the Virginia line into Pittsylvania, Henry, Bedford, Patrick, Floyd, and Montgomery Counties especially. Our Thomas line goes up into Culpeper and Madison Counties, with our line being German.

I am also half Swedish, with my mother's grandparents having immigrated to Lowell and Tewksbury, Massachusetts. Our Swedish lines go back to Halmstad, Halland ; Göteborg (Älvsborg) ; and Lur, Bohuslän.
