Bio

I've been researching my family history on and off for quite a few years but have not been very consistent or well organized. I recently joined Ancestry.com and came across Find-a-Grave.com and have renewed enthusiasm. I love photography and meandering through old cemetaries so becoming a volunteer photographer seemed a natural fit. I only wish I had more time to devote to both that and my own research.

I was fortunate to have a good start to some of my family history through my great-grandmother's application to join the DAR (Daughters of the American Revolution). The ancestor she referenced was Robert Adams, Jr. I've since found many other lines, including Hall, Ventress, Mudge, Eddy and others. I've been amazed at the amount of information that is now availble on the Web. It's such a wonderful way to learn about the history of an area or a period in time and makes it so much more personal than just reading a history book. I look forward to many more years of discovery and adventures.
