Bio Photo Like many of you I have had the bug for many years. I used to walk through cemeteries even as a child and wonder about the people resting there. Now I hope my grandchildren will learn more about their relatives by following my lead.

If you see anything on any memorials that I manage that you would like changed please let me know and I can do that. Just post a message for me using the edit button.

I will transfer memorials within Find a Grave guidelines.

Please feel free to post obits and I will gladly add them. Please give the name of the contributor or newspaper.

RE: Jewel Jarvis
Was E Pearl (Russell) Travis the mother to Jewell? She's buried right next to her. Also did you notice the birth date on Jewell is different than the memorial?

She was buried on the opposite side of the cemetery from the Travis plot.

Hello,
I found a headstone reading:

E. Jewel (Travis) Jarvis
1922-1959

Which I think are different dates than indicated in your request. Let me know if this is possibly the correct grave and I'll upload it to the memorial.

Thanks!

RE: E Jarvis
Hi

I didn't see or realize that Eloise married name was TRAVIS or was it JARVIS. There was a large plot of Travis' there. The cemetery is about 10 miles from my house, so not sure when I'll go back, but I'm pretty sure there will be a headstone there for her. I remember reading some of the stones.

I was surprised to see many aluminum temporary grave markers there that were fairly old, but no head stone. We read everything we could see today and did not skip a plot. It would really be helpful if there was a plot map for this cemetery. It was our first visit there and not office to get info from.

It's not likely we missed her, but anything is possible. Again, a plot location would save from looking at 900+ graves.

I found the memorials that are alike, one is in Cedar County, and One is in St. Clair County, I am going to call tomorrow the office of the El Dorado Springs cemetery and see if this is where he is actually buried. I will then delete one.
