Bio Photo As a Mason I feel it is an obligation to my family to record as much history as I possibly can, in my lifetime. Hopefully, what i have accomplished will be a foundation to build on for those that follow. So much, has already been lost or forgotten. "If we forget those that have passed, we shall be forgotten, also."

William Alvin Rice photo
Thank you so much for posting the photo of William Alvin Rice. He was my great-grandmother's second husband. I descend from Bertha Blanche Lee Farthing (Rice) and William Henry Farthing. Do you happen to have any other photos of these folks? Thanks so much!

Margaret Hurst at Hurst Chapel
I recently photographed all the gravestones at Hurst Chapel and I did not find a stone for Margaret Hurst. However, several of the stones are almost impossible to read or don't have anything on them at all. I did not have time to try and enhance any of the hard to read stones. I will try to work in photoshop on a few of them but, I'm not too hopeful. So, I did not want to remove your request, in case someone else is able to produce a photo.

I grew up in that church but now live in Dallas TX. If I get a chance to go back, I'll look again.

RE: Ruby Lee Rodgers
I am happy that the obituary was helpful to you. I am interested in the Waldo family. They married into my Smith and Coggins family.

kimball / woodworth story
Hello, cousin!
I am going to email you the Kimball story, I found a letter written by my 2X great grandfather to his grandchildren that explains the name change. This is all that I've been able to learn, but it's pretty interesting. I am also descended from Samuel Hovey Sr, Samuel Hovey Jr, Abner Hovey, then Lois Hovey.

RE: D. W. Dailey
Thank You but my research so far shows that D.w. Dailey is not related to my line of the Dailey tree.
Best regards

I didnt forget you! I asked my father in law about this and he didnt know. I wonder if we could contact the mason lodge down there in Gonzales county. And if they would be able to tell us yes or no?
