As a Mason I feel it is an obligation to my family to record as much history as I possibly can, in my lifetime. Hopefully, what i have accomplished will be a foundation to build on for those that follow. So much, has already been lost or forgotten. "If we forget those that have passed, we shall be forgotten, also."|

|Daniel Gregory||RE: Dunn Family History|
I would love a CD. Feel free to use any of my photos. If you end up printing a book let me know and I'll buy one. I was just thinking of Mack Dunn yesterday. My grandmother (his granddaughter) Esther Fay Usher Werndli recalled Mack Dunn had a Model A and when he went over Monteagle Mountain he would cut off the car and coast all the way down to save gas!
Until next time,

Thank you for your comments.
|Jan Andrews||Riley Lovvorn|
I was looking at information on Riley's memorial and I think that he had a son named Jewell, not Janell. Jewell is a name that runs in the family of Lovvorn and Evett. I checked the census records of 1910 for Etowah county AL and that was what I came up with. Thank-you for all that you do. My grandmother was Evie Lovvorn Evett and she also named a son Jewell, I am not sure if it is a middle name or first name, I would have to look at her memorial. Jan Evett Andrews

Sorry I have no information about Vivian. Try looking for an OB in the newspaper where she died.
|LinnR||Asa Yeamans Memorial Comment|
Regarding your comment on my 2nd great grandfather's memorial. Asa Yeomans's spouse, Jerusha Wightman Yeomans (Yeamans) descended from a long line of Baptists. One of her uncles was the last person burned at the stake in England by King James after being found guilty of heresy by a Church of England court. Among the charges was the Wightman ancestor's preaching against infant baptism. Shortly thereafter the Wightman boys moved to the New World, where they joined the Rhode Island colony of Roger Williams. Many of the Wightman men served as early Baptist ministers. One of the boys, Rev. Valentine Wightman, married Roger Williams granddaughter, Susannah Holmes hence Roger Williams is also an ancestor of the Yeamans clan in Matagorda County Texas. If interested the following link accesses Valentine's bio. https://www.dropbox.com/s/0q0mnuzxxn5bee3/WIGHTMAN%2C%20Rev.%20Valentine%20Biography.pdf?dl=0

Bill Gates 10 times great grandfather was Walter Woodworth who is the ancestor of 96% of all Woodworths in the US. Walter is my 8 times great grandfather, so Bill Gates and I are very distant cousins. His "Louisa Woodworth" is not the same "Louisa Woodworth" as mine.

I wish I had something to offer but I don't have much on that line. I have an ancestry tree but didn't have her siblings listed on it. Would love to see your work.

You sent me a lot of information back in late 2016. If you are working on a book, I would be most interested in helping by providing information on my line. I live on the north side of Houston.
