Hello - I would like permission to upload your photos to my husband's genealogy files. He is not directly related but this family is a very ex-
tended branch via the Gilkison ties.

RE: Serena Hershey Burial
Thanks I honestly hadn't thought about that in a while, but I haven't found any further info on her burial. Thanks forgot forgetting. I was just thinking, though, if we could find out what church Serena's family went to around the time of her death, maybe there's an adjoining cemetery and that's where she's buried. Anyway, thanks for all your help and good luck with your research.

RE: Serena Hershey Burial
Thanks I'd really appreciate it. It's kind of weird that know website shows where she's buried.

There is a picture of her headstone at the historical society website:

I don't think I'll try to fill this request, but if you need a picture for private records you will find it there. Linda

Eldon Slager
I have additional information regarding his death. It appears that all other members of his crew was able to bail out of the plane sucessfully. However, Eldon parachut got caught on the plane and he killed upon impact. I have a copy of the original paperwork submitted to the Government. If you want copies of these please let me know.

I have already photographed nearly every single gravestone in Clinton County (75,000) and posted them on IowaGravestones. I can respond to requests from FindAGrave as soon as I see them.
