I have a great interest in history and genealogy. I grew up in Houston, TX, attended 4 years at the University of Texas in Austin, and have remained in TX except for 3 years in GA. My interest in history has continued on the Historic Commission for my County and the Daughters of the Republic of Texas. I've worked for the Texas Liquor Control Board, been a real estate agent, worked in an antique store, sold retail clothing, worked in a doctor's office, been a secretary at the A&M vet school, and my first job was teaching riflery and tennis at Camp Arrowhead in Hunt, TX. Volunteer work fills in all the inbetween times. Our church grounds the center of our lives.

My husband and I have been married 48 years, raised 3 wonderful daughters, and have been blessed with 7 grandchildren!
