Virginia Stella nee Mineau
I just added a memorial for her as Virginia Stella St. Aubin and connected her to her parents- your work is much appreciated!Have asked for a photo of Virginia's marker, hoping she has one, to see what last name she is buried with.
Virginia had at least four husbands- first was Chester Allie, as seen on her father's memorial. By 1930 she was married to Paul Saward (as seen on her mother's memorial), then by 1940 to Herbert Duvall. Herbert died 1949, his obituary on his findagrave memorial lists the Allie children of Virginia. And The Mary Ward was born to Paul Savard, apparently later divorced as Savard on her mother's obituary. Virginia's obituary listed the Duvall children and Allie children as her survivors. She died as a St. Aubin but there is no mention of him on her obituary (assume divorced). Just mentions Herbert Duvall- have no idea what happened to Chester Allie, Paul Saward or the unknown St. Aubin.
Any information you might come across will be appreciated.

RE: Ann Thuesen
Thank you so much for the information. Herb's second wife, Mary, and my husband's aunt were great friends - probably from childhood as they both grew up in Langdon. It was just a surprise to see another wife listed on Herb's memorial.

Thank you, again, for taking time to send the information!

Best wishes,
judy :)

RE: Xavier Mineau
Oh my goodness! How exciting to hear from you! Xavier and Eleanor were my great grandparents. They had 5 children. Three boys and two girls. One of the girls was my grandma, Marie Mineau Smits!! She and my grandpa had just 2 children, my dad and my aunt. It's such a coincidence that you're living in Florida. My aunt, Nancy Smits, moved to Tampa last year to live with her daughter. A hard adjustment for anyone, but she goes with the flow and is settling in, making new friends and joining in activities. My dad will be 80 years old at the end of this month and Nancy will be 79 in August. I can't wait to tell them I've been in contact with you!!

Xavier Mineau
Hello Priscilla!

Xavier was my great-grandfather. My dad and I are curious if, based on your name, you might be related to us somehow or if it's just a coincidence?
