I am a lifetime member of East Hillsborough Historical Society housed in the old 1914 Plant City High School building, having been a volunteer in their Quintilla Geer Bruton Archives Center for 26 years.

Researching my family history beginning with High, my ancestor ggg gf Julius,gg gf Harmon having come to Florida by late 1820s. My g gf was b 1844/45 at Waukeenah FL where they had settled in Jefferson Co, FL. Julius was in War of 1812 NC, he and his sons and grandsons were in Indian Wars of Florida. Some of his sons and grandsons were in the C W as well.

I have numerous other lines I'm working on as well and several more settled in Florida by 1855.

My interest is in historical and family research as well as the towns in which they once lived.
