Please let me know if you'd like me to transfer your family member's memorial to you. |
Right now I am uploading images from a local cemetery, so I may take some time returning to you.
Also, after discussions on Genforum about the errors on this site I am always very conscious of mistakes and incorrect information here. I encourage anyone who sees a mistake I made to let me know. I also encourage other contributers before adding graves to make certain that the information they add is correct. Often I find memorials have been created before the graves have been visited. If this is the case, please provide source information and realize that even then the source may have been wrong to begin with. Headstones can also be incorrect from time to time, so be conscious of this.

|Robert Versluis||Thank you|
Again I would like to thank you for transferring Julius Cable memorial to me. I am 80 years old and live in Texas and I canít travel to Chicago anytime soon. So I will take you up on your offer and when you go back out to Mount Auburn Memorial Park I do have two requests.
If you could add a color photo of Julius Cable memorial that would be great. Memorial Find A Grave Memorial# 75481060.
Also, if you could photograph my auntís Mary Versluis Cable Scheibe tombstone as well. She is buried in the same cemetery I just do not know if she is buried next to her first husband Julius Cable of her second husband Otto Scheibe. Her Find A Grave Memorial is # 176176048. If there is An Otto Scheibe if you could create the memorial and transfer it to me that would be great.
Thank you so much,
God bless you,
|Robert ||Clara Fain|
Nicole thank you for this post. Thomas Fain is my GGGGrandfather through Rebecca's sister Clara, my GGGrandmother. Thomas and his wife had several more children and just wanted to let you know and thanks for your work. Respectfully submitted, Robert S.

|Joan Morton Stephens||RE: John Morgan Robinson|
John Morgan Robinson's sister, Lilla Lee, is my great grandmother. Her daughter, Ruby Pauline (my grandmother), was my original information source - that Johnnie Virginia was John's daughter. She was named for him. This would be my grandmother's immediate family. Since she and Johnnie Virginia were about the same age, and spent time together from childhood, she would be a reliable source. Federal census records for 1910 and 1920, list Johnnie V. As John's daughter. By 1930, Johnnie V. is listed as wife of Rosier Alton Wingate. Findagrave also lists her as the daughter of John Morgan Robinson. Think you can be pretty confident about this relationship. Hope this helps! Joan

Hi Nicole, I hope you find my SAC edit for this memorial, I have her obituary and would be happy to share it on her memorial if you'd like. You have her "Burial Unknown", she is buried in the Forest Hill Cemetery, Jackson co.,MO. I'd sent an earlier edit that she had remarried and was Lydia Holmes. I was happy to find her final resting place. Thanks for your help. Luella
|Angie||William Frank Durham|
I don't know if you're still looking for this information, but I read your note on William Durham's Memorial. The Durhams listed in that cemetery are all listed as a family in the 1930 and 1940 censuses minus a few more kids. The names and dates match sufficiently to believe that they are all the kids of William and Ida. I hope this helps and good luck with your search.

Hello Nicole, I have been doing a family grave updates and came across you. I do believe we are distant cousins on my mother's side. My mother and father's mothers were Stricklands and they were sisters. My mother's mother was Carrie Bell Strickland and her mother was Lillian (Lillie) Wingate. But I couldn't go any further than that?
could you help me on my search earlier than Lillie? Who were Lillie's parents etc...
God bless you and your work to keep family's informed.

Just read your Find A Grave comment about wives of W.H. "Bud" Bartley. I am a g-granddaughter of 2nd wife, Margaret Jane "Peggy" (Bartley) Reaves.
And I'm also related to Sarah Francis (Bartley) Earls, Adams, Vaughn--(surname at death)-- & she is the mother of
Ellen (Bartley) Mayfield, Rhodes--(last name at her death)--that you mentioned. I bought Sarah's grave marker at Lone Star Cemetery, near Mountain Grove, Wright Co, Missouri.
How are you related to Ellen (Bartley) Mayfield, Vaughn?

Hi Nicole, I found a photo of Thomas Fain from Decatur County Georgia that you posted which says it is located in the Fain Family Plot. Can you tell me what city it is located in or near. Thanks.
