My grandmother was our family researcher along with my 2nd cousin in the 80's. |
I've found myself unknowngly following in her research footsteps a couple of times which is kind of cool.
Names: Gibbens, McCormack, Womack (CA, MO, TN, VA) and White & Hirn in (Iowa & Wyoming.) Warner, Jeffries, Stott and Dowden (Iowa, Indiana, Maryland.) Marnin, Muthler and Mooney (New Jersey and New York.)
In particular, I would be very interested in talking to any Marnin, Muthler and Mooney descendants as we lost contact with that side of the family beyond two generations. Please message me here.

|Ben Johnson||Johnson McCormack|
I am a direct descendant of Johnson McCormack and his first wife, Imogene Mercilla Brown through my mother, Virginia Wiles Johnson, daughter of Jiffie Tennessee McCormack Wiles, daughter of Ola Ozment McCormack, son of Pleasant Addison McCormack, son of Johnson McCormack and Imogene Mercilla Brown. Thank you so much for clearing up the Johnson McCormack/Johnston Easton McCormick controversy. There still seems to be some uncertainty however as to the parents of John J. McCormack. I believe his father to be Micajah McCormack as your information suggests, but others have his father as William W. McCormack. In your information, you stated two things that I found very interesting. You referred to a biography of Johnson's son, John (Wesley?). Can you give me more information on this biography? The author? The name of the book?
Also you stated that Johnson is connected to his father, John J. and grandfather Cager (Micajah) McCormack by DNA evidence. Can you tell me the details of that DNA evidence?
I very anxiously await your response.

Robin, I was wondering if you are related to Susan Mooney?
|Sheryl Deringer Londerville||Ida and Leander Benner|
Were you ever able to find the gravsites for Ida and Leander? Gordy and I have been there a couple of times and can't find them. The office at Mt Pleasant said they are buried by Clemmie.

|Patricia Williams Curry||Johnson (Johnsy) McCormack|
On your memorial for Johnson McCormack #83579343 you added that you had learned from the Montgomery County Missouri Cemetery Records as to the burial place for Johnson. Might there have been any information concerning the burial place for his wife, Mercilla? Johnson is the father in law of my 3rd great aunt,Louisa Carpenter McCormack. Thanks for any information. Pat
|Cynthia Farmer-Nold||"Fate" Spurlock's twin sister|
On the memorial page for Josiah Lafayette "Fate" Spurlock in Farber Cemetery, Audrain County, Missouri, you posted a flower note relating to his twin sister Martha (Mattie) Spurlock. She later married a Steele. Do you have any idea where she is buried and her husband's name? They had a daughter named Isola who married William C. Pennington.

Hi, I found where Clemmie is actually buried. It is the Mt Pleasant Cemetery on Queen Anne Hill. Her sister Ida and husband are buried there also. I got some pictures and will post them to the Mt Pleasant Find A Grave site. The tombstone says she died on July 25, 1902.
Thought you'd like to know.

It will not let me delete Stephen Warner's photo. I believe you have to be the one to delete it since you posted it.
|Kari Miller-Bailey||RE: Warner Family|
Henry Taylor Warner is my great-grandfather and Viola Josephine Ingelsby Warner is my great-grandmother on my mother's side. So I have information on both of those lines. I have both Henry and Viola's graves listed at Waveland Cemetery in Prairie City, but have not been there to confirm it.
