Bio

As far back as I can remember I have loved cemeteries! My mother and I have been going to cemeteries since I was little. We use to live across the street from a cemetery when I was 4-5 years old. I remember going into the cemetery and looking at all of the markers. I could not read them but I thought the markers were beautiful!

Every trip that my mother and I took we would visit a local cemetery or two. I do a lot of driving and when I see a cemetery I usually stop, look around and take photos. The older markers are my favorites, they are like art work. The shapes, sizes and the detail on them are so unique to each time period.

My husband goes with me sometimes now and some of my grandchildren will go but not too often. I do have to say that my husband loves me; since my mother has passed away he goes with me to at least one cemetery when we are on vacation. He says that is his way of keeping my special time with my mother alive and in my memories.

I am so happy that I found this site and I am equally happy to be able to help you with your search for your family members in and around Rome, Georgia.

Have a very Blessed Day!
