Are you referring to burials in Charlotte Memorial Cemetery in Port Charlotte? If so, then yes, they are definitely there - I just haven't uploaded the photo yet. I will try to remember to find them on my computer when I get home tonight. You can click on the Request A Photo button on those memorials to remind me.

Crites Cemetery
My husband and I walked the entire Crites Cemetery yesterday. It is in deplorable condition. Totally overgrown and infested with snakes and ticks. We took photos of all stones we could find and free of debris and snakes.

I descend from the Crites and wanted to record all the stones before they were completely destroyed. It seems I was too late for those you requested. None of them could be found. Although this cemetery is supposed to have perpetual care, it has not been cared for and will not last another 5 years. I have posted directions under the photo on the cemetery page if you would like to visit it. It is a small fenced in area in the middle of a cow pasture. It is very overgrown and we had to clear a tree off the gated entrance to the cemetery. Visitors have the right to access the cemetery.
