After retiring in 2002, I am now a full-time housewife. Always wanting to work on mine and my husband's family tree, now it has been done and still in progress. |
Then I found Find A Grave...love Find A Grave! Love taking headstone photos for FAG!! I will do everything I can and try my best in helping families find their loved ones on Find A Grave which will help in their family tree.
I am from NE Louisiana, my husband is from Southern Arkansas and we met and live in Mississippi. My family tree is Chapman/Averett/Leggette/Toney and my husband's family tree is Yocom/Clift/Summerhill/Sweeney.
I live near all of the Ridgeland, MS cemeteries (Jessamine, Parkway Memorial and Natchez Trace Memorial Park) and I also frequent the cemeteries in Lake Providence, LA (Lake Providence City and Providence Memorial), since I have many family members buried there.
Find A Grave rules:
1) How do I enter all married names for a woman's memorial when she was married more than once?
The 'last name' is the name that is on the headstone. Include other married names as part of the biography section. The 'maiden name' is only for her maiden name.
2) Photos: ONLY post photos for which YOU hold the copyright (meaning photos you took)!!!

Thank you very much for the transfer of this family member to me.
|charlene hopton||RE: Headstone - Isabelle and Arthur|
80548993 is Isabel's number and 80549222 is Arthur's number
Isabel is a distant cousin of my husband.
May I use Arthur's headstone pictures in my family tree?
May I use Isabelle's headstone picture in my family tree?
|Ann Lindsey||RE: Correction, Cora Mae McNair Nixon|
|Ann Lindsey||Correction, Cora Mae McNair Nixon|
Cora's married name was Nixon, not Dixon. Please excuse the error. Are you related to the Nixon's or do you know anyone that is please.
Thank you, Ann
|Ann Lindsey||Dixon Family?|
Are you related to the Dixon's? If so please see the message left for me on my page from Pete, the caretaker where Cora McNair, Dixon's parents are buried. I'm hoping you can help him.
Thank you, Ann
|KJ Heald||Albert Raggio|
Thanks for contacting me, however, I believe the entry in the Jackson City cemetery is the duplicate. According to my lists of both cemeteries, Albert is in the St. Pat's cemetery. Perhaps, the contributor for the Jackson City memorial would delete his entry.
I am transferring all my entries over to someone else, so if you have further questions, you can contact him. His name will appear on Albert Raggio's memorial page in St. Pat's.

|D Donald||Brenda Gayle Custer Randall|
Brenda Gayle Custer Randall is the deceased & also the find a grave contributor that posted #83554235 (her own memorial). I do no know of any way to add her date of death or obit to her existing memorial, therefore I added a memorial.(notice the note I left under her #83554235 memorial just before your note).
