I love the Spring. Time to clean the stones!

My name is Gail and I have always been fascinated by old cemeteries and the paranormal. {Ghosts don't scare me, people do!} I love giving Cemetery tours! I lived my whole life behind a huge cemetery. Many times a week I would walk among the 200 year old markers at Union Cemetery, Old Aldrich grounds and the Old Bank Cemetery and feel that they all had a story to tell. Many, many children died in their early age and it's too bad that many markers were just unnamed stones or they didn't have markers. When I do find a grave without a monument, I will place flowers and photograph the plot where they are buried.

My lineage: Denomme, Morel, Doire, Defosses, Lanoue, Metivier,Provencal, Bergeron, Lafontaine,

If I have a memorial to your ancestor, please contact me for a transfer. I'll gladly do that even if they are a distant relative or just a friend as I know how important each name is in our own family trees and lives. **See New FAG rules on relationships.

*I have had some people question my posting of newspaper obituaries without transcribing them. I often am going through old newspapers and put obituaries on FAGrave for families. Be aware that the newspaper copyright expires 75 years after publishing. From then on, newspaper articles are considered in public domain. in 2024, any obituary published before 1947 can be duplicated without copyright infringement. All others will be transcribed. Please do NOT transcribe living relatives &**(per FAG rules)

All updates/corrections/transfers MUST be sent using the Edit process. Please submit proof of edit, PLEASE do not send me links to https://www.familysearch.org for birth/death dates. If no proof, I will add your name and FAG# so they may contact you.

NOTE: You have my permission to use any photo I've taken and posted on FAG in your own family research. A note of credit would be appreciated. Many of my photos can be seen on Ancestry.

If you're new on FAG, please read their rules; you can send me a question anytime!
