Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am a genealogist at heart and try very hard to find information and links for the memorials I create (and am aware that I am human and do make mistakes) so I am happy to add information and make corrections.

I am also happy to do transfers but please don't send me a transfer request just stating "transfer it to me so I can update it" or ask me to link to "burial unknowns." Every edit or transfer request I receive gets researched and checked against the people buried near them to see if I can find a connection. So please if you have the information, use the edit tab to send the suggestion and THEN ask for the transfer.

Also I create memorials for families so please do not ask for a transfer because you are collecting Civil War soldiers, Pioneers, or whole cemeteries etc. These were real people, not something to be collected and I refuse to treat them as such.

Thank you to all the volunteers that have added photos, send corrections or shared stories or obituaries with me about the memorials in my care. And to those who kindly accept the many edit/link requests that I send out.

A note about photos:
I have been using the beta photo up-loader and one of its quirks is that it doesn't show you if there is already a photo on a memorial. I have tried to delete any duplicate photos I have accidentally added but if you find I have missed one please feel free to let me know.

Thank you for transferring this worthy woman pioneer . The family is so pleased that we can add her bio info to her memorial. She lived thru very hard times on the territorial frontiers of Minnesota and Dakotas. Her home was burned out twice in Indian raids, two children died during the 1862 Siiux
uprising. We have tiny children clothes made by Matill-the cloth spun and woven by her, cut and sewen by her. What a slow and painstaking work.
Anyway thank you so much again for your kindness,

Nora Gunderson Nasvik
Mary, I am confused about Nora. Is she actually buried at Riverside Memorial Gardens? The source of my confusion is the unknown death date. I know she was alive and living in Aberdeen, South Dakota in 1997. Another relative thinks she died in 2003, but I can't find that information in writing anywhere.

It would be a step in the right direction to find out if she is physically buried at Riverside. Thanks for any information you can provide.

Janis Shown-Nelson Memorial# 108237168
Hi Mary,
I wonder if there is any more information about the grave of Janis? I would be interested in knowing when she died? I know she was born around 1933.
Thanks,
Stefan (distant cousin in Sweden)

Harry Earl Willson Memorial# 107129547
Hi Mary,
I found the memorial you created for Harry Earl Willson very helpful. I am researching my late wife's ancestors. Harry was her grandfather. His first wife, Aura Aletha Marsden Willson, was her grandmother. I was not aware of the multiple marriages of Harry and Aletha. Thanks for all the important information.

Regards,
Don Castella

Please transfer this to me
Thank you for creating this and all your hard work. This is my paternal grandmother #164453488 and I would like to take over this one as I have more info to contribute. Also, I added a picture of my Oma but it transferred to a sideways view. How can I set it up correctly in a vertical position?
Thank you again, Kim Frey

Re: Walter Spurgeon #170723091
Hi Mary,
On the Alberta Genealogical Societies Cemetery Database, it shows Walter's burial place at the Barrhead Anglican Cemetery which is different than the Barrhead Community Cemetery. It is called Saint Luke's Anglican Cemetery. Walter is my 2nd Great Uncle.
Thanks,
Diana
