Bio

I've been doing genealogy about 14 years. By far my favorite thing to do is to take genealogy trips. I have spent many entire days looking for old cemeteries, exploring them and taking photos. My ancestors lived in rural Iowa, Kansas, Missouri and Montana in the 1800s and 1900s. Prior to that, most lived in Ohio, Pennsylvania, Indiana and the Niagara area of Ontario. They arrived as early as the 1600s. Most of my photos are from trips to explore these areas. Some small cemeteries have turned out to be a boon for my research as most of those buried turned out to be related. Findagrave has helped me immensely, especially the bios that people post! I'm doing the same, hoping to be of service to other researchers. All the memorials I manage are related in some way. I am overjoyed to find cousins new and old and happy to share any information I have. If asking questions or requesting transfer of memorials, please give the # of the memorial. My main surnames are:
WOOD, DOAN(E), QUINN, BURROWES, LAMAY/LEMAY, SABA, WILSON, MENDENHALL, YOUNG, WALWORTH, ANCLIEN, GILPIN, THOMAS, MCQUILLEN, MAPSON, WONDRASCH, ROBINSON, ROBERTSON, ERDMAN, MILLER, SLAU(GH)TER, CHELTE, ECKLEY, HARMON, LEWIS, LYONS, SMITH, WENDT, WOLERY
