I've seen a lot of FindaGrave quotes regarding the transfer of memorials but never one regarding the responsibility of memorial managers when it comes to receiving edits and suggestions:

"If the member is sending the edits in order to update the memorial, then as the manager of the memorial, you have the responsibility to research the edits that are sent by 'Suggest Edits' or 'Suggest other Corrections.' You should accept or decline the update according to your research or the research that is sent to you."

That being said.. when I send edits, please do not demand that proof be sent or uploaded before a memorial will be updated. If you need assistance finding such information I will be happy to help you, just ask. If you don't have Ancestry, familysearch.org is free to use.
