Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am posting what I know about the folks who were buried at several family cemeteries that would likely be overlooked otherwise, then linking them to as many descendants as practicable. Each of these cemeteries includes a gravesite of the first family member to reside on the land on which the cemetery was established.

I have been very pleased to learn that many other people are interested in memorializing those who have gone before us, and are eager to share what they know to make each memorial as accurate as possible.

If I can return the favor, please let me know.

Thank You for Your Message
Last year, I traveled in search for the Mount Pisgah Church Cemetery and turned into the Church parking lot. I looked around and seen the stairs across the street and thought perhaps the Church was relocated from the top of the hill to its present location. For some reason, I didn't go up the stairs. So I got in my car and ended up at two other cemeteries in the area. So not all was lost that day. Now I know that the stairs leads to the Mount Pisgah Church Cemetery. I appreciate your research, pictures and work at the Mount Pisgah Church Cemetery as I think together we have a complete record and pictures for future generations looking for their ancestors buried there.

Michael Stump IV
Thank you for posting this information on Michael. For two DAR supplemental applications, I am seeking any document: birth, death or marriage that would prove the relationship of Matilda Stump Barr, 1828-1904 to her parents Michael Stump IV and Elizabeth Bush Stump. Any guidance of where to order a copy of an existing document would be appreciated. I have not found anything from the usual online resources other than the Find a Grave postings.
Thank you, Cecilia Hathaway Calvert.

You mention that Sally was a descendant of Hawte Wyatt. Hawte Wyatt was the gr-grandson of Sir Thomas Wyatt, the English poet and friend of Henry VIII. Hawte was also the grandson of Thomas Wyatt the younger, who was executed by Queen Mary as a result of Wyatt's Rebellion in 1554.

Hawte's father, George, wrote an extensive history of the Wyatt family.

Thank You Very Much
Thank You for finding and picturing Archie Stump's grave site and headstone. This will complete my research record for my relative. I would like to visit the cemetery because of close related relatives I have in this cemetery. Do you have an address to the Church where the cemetery is located? Thanks Again.

Peter Straight & family
Hi. I am intrigued by the bio on Peter's memorial and interested in learning if you may have further insights that you'd be willing to share. Your in depth research and excellently done bios lead me to believe that you may be interested in our recent discovery concerning part of this family. If so inclined, please email me at the address on my profile page.
Thank you. Robb

I am trying to connect Nancy Isabella Stump to her father Jacob Stump. You have a very detailed history on his memorial. Could you tell me the source of this information? This is for a DAR application.
