Do Clay County Missouri work as time permits.
All photos taken by me are free, while I hold the copyright I give the pictures to any one who wants them for whatever use they deem appropriate.
Quoting another FAG contributor and agreeing.
"I think it is a real shame what FindAGrave has evolved into. What started as a noble way to link people with graves of loved ones they could never hope to see, and with the generations that had preceded them, has turned into a game for some. Memorials have turned into a kind of "trading card", a competition of who can own the most memorials and post the highest numbers and enter the memorial first!! What has been forgotten by many is that these were people, loved in life and death, not a commodity to be traded or owned.
With my apologies to those that have pure motives. I hope there are more of us than there are of them".
Or a game of getting back at others, as well, instead of trying to work with one another, you chose to work against each other. If only we could all start from scratch and just get along think how wonderful this site would be?

It was my pleasure, Good luck with your research.

There are two John Hammontree entries at Salem. John David "JD" Hammontree, which I manage, who is the MM,in which you are referring. The second is JD Hammontree, who was not a medicine man. They are different persons. I am trying to determine if they might be grandfather and grandson. I was hoping you might help with this clarification and distinction.

My other question would be if your John Hammontree was in Scouting, along with our Medicine Man Hammontree? Thanks, again. Looking forward to hearing from you.

I have been researching my Hammontree cousins, and noticed that you had posted on the above memorial. I have MM JD Hammontree's page. I am wondering if the (your) John Hammontree might be related to mine (maybe grandson and grandfather, via James?) It was interesting to see your FG contributor name, knowing that you are obviously in MOS, as I am, too.
Piercing Arrow was married to my 2nd cousin. The Hammontree family is likely also related to my Boone line, which is also related to my Rice line, and Howard Hammontree married a Rice, who would be have been a sister-in-law to my Boone grandmother. Confused? LOL. Basically, I would be related to them/him in two ways.
Looking forward to meeting you.
In Friendship and Warmth,
Jana, an Honored Woman

You're welcome, John. I like it when people are grateful. It is a warm fuzzy. :)
|Richard Boyer||RE: joseph Harrison|
If you click on the lot record, I put a caption at the bottom of the record. Joseph does not have a marker. A marker would be indicated by a small rectangle drawn inside the larger rectangle and as you can see, there is only one marker in the entire lot.

Thank you! If you change your mind, please let me know. I would rather have her with some family :)
Or if there is any information you would like added to her memorial, I would be glad to do so also.

You are very welcome! I'm happy to have been of assistance.
|Cheron Zittle||Alice Elaine Vines|
She also has another find-a-grave #65551620 & is listed as in Fairview Cemetery. I'm sure the one you listed is correct #92237004 since you have a picture of the headstone.
|Tami||Bessie Snoen # 140925921|
I would be delighted to link Bessie to her father.
Thank you so much for sending me the info!
I will also add some other information to her memorial that I have not done yet. I have been photographing all of Block 54 and trying to add some family info in hopes of finding family for the memorials.
Please let me know if you are family, and would like a transfer. I would be glad to transfer to family.
