RE: SCOTT SHOWERS
Actually, I think the 1880 date may be correct. He died in June @ 81, but his next birthday would have been in Sept. Hence being born in 1880. That is the date that is recorded on his WWI draft registration. So I went ahead and changed with note in bio. Thanks for the info.

Cory...if the note you sent is from her obit, I would also need what paper published in and date. Copyright stuff. Must have, though, buried some ashes for there to be a FHM placed.

RE: SCOTT SHOWERS
I would be happy to add those obits to the bio section. Just need them typed out in the suggest a correction section under edit.

Does the obit give a YOB for Scott? How did they list his name?

SCOTT SHOWERS
It appears to me that Scott's name was Winfield Scott Showers. That is the name on both of his draft registrations. His YOB appears to vary 1879, 1880, 1881. I will leave as is until I can research further. I welcome, though, references to other documents that support your edits. Perhaps it would be wise to choose the most frequently seen YOB and then make a note in the bio section about other possibilities?

I consider this process a collaborative effort so that we can assure that information on a memorial listed is as accurate as possible.

It is nice to see someone interested in this family as the markers were missed by transcribers and covered with grass. I just happened upon them while looking for another grave site and reviewing records.

Cory,

I have amended the obituaries to reflect the information you gave me. Do you know if the ashes were placed in a cemetery? Would you like these transferred to you? I am not related. I so appreciate your help.

Blessings,

Cynthia

Thank you for not accepting my edit request, because it was wrong. I found in the Ohio records that there were two Samuel Weaver(s) that died on Nov 3, 1910.

Hi,
I photographed a headstone for Frederick and Margaret Buck at Woodlawn Cemetery in Toledo, OH. You have entered a record for two individuals with the same name, however the birth years are different. Frederick is 1862 on the headstone but you have 1852. Margaret's differs by a year. Could these be the same people? Thanks for your help.
