Thank you Scott! I greatly appreciate your help and also in getting back to me so quickly.
My cousin had found an old newspaper article regarding this tragedy and we wondered if this child belonged to our Tony. Now, thanks to you, we know the truth. Thank you so very much for updating the memorial as well.
Thank you for everything!
|Douglas Cramer||RE: Michael and Johanna Delaney|
That would be pretty awesome to transfer this Find-A-Grave site to me. Michael and Johanna Delaney are my 2nd Gr. Grandparents on my Dad's side. Also there is (their son) a John Delaney #100131205, posted 11/4/2012,(died 1n 1893), w/o a headstone on this family site (he's my 1st Gr. G'father). Well, a big thank you in advance for doing whatever it will take to transfer my family members to "my custodianship"!
Best regards, Doug Cramer, Grand Island, NE

Not a problem. Thank you for understanding.

Thanks for your kind offer but I am not family. I am transcribing Hardin County (Iowa) Deaths, 1920-1940 onto Find A Grave. Her parents were on that list and I often, just out of uriosity, follow and link families together that
I find on this death list.
Hopefully, someday, a relative will contact you and be willing to take her memorial.
|Jim Furrer||RE: Mary (Churchill) Clymer|
>> ... assumed Mary is buried in the Clymer Burial Ground. Is that where you found her marker or is she buried in another cemetery...
Answer is "another cemetery" specifically the Monroe Silent Cemetery, Fairview Twp, Jasper County, Iowa, USA.
On trip back to Lincoln, Nebraska last month for my mom's funeral, I learned that two of my Clymer uncles, George and Forrest, had ventured to Monroe back in September of 1995, specifically on search for Mary Churchill Clymer's grave. And they found it and one of their daughters just recently emailed me with scans (their snapshot pictures include a shot of the cemetery entrance, I can post that one up on her Find-A-Grave site).
I'm aware of the Iowa GenWeb Project reference to the "Clymer Burial Grounds" which leads me to believe (with no proof whatsoever) that perhaps graves at some point in time had been relocated to Monroe Cemetery from the private burial ground. Mary's tombstone lays on the ground, is not mounted vertically. Might be info on this in the Monroe Cemetery records, but I'm located in Colorado (hint, hint)
Thanks for offering transfer, but no, please continue your good work.

|Judy K. Brantley/Wilson||RE: [ Baby Son ] Potter|
No one will ever look this this child up with Baby and especially with (Baby Son) as the first name. Everyone uses Infant as first name even if marker has Baby on it. Several of us near Atlanta, Georgia do large cemeteries and have a number infants under one last name. Adding in the parents first names in the middle name section makes it where you do not have to click on every one to see if it is one you are looking for. We all put the sex of the child down under Bio. Just trying to help so your memorial will be seen.
|MrsB||Seamann edits appreciated.|
Thank you for sending the link to the Albion paper. I checked in the Blair Genealogical site and found two more obits, and included them. I very much appreciate your sending the links to her family. Please take a look again at the memorial.

Thanks so much for the information on Thomas P. Mullen, it is greatly appreciated.
|Linda Berney||Nettie Oleson/Englebretson|
Thanks for that information. I'm not sure how you figured all that out! I sent suggestions to the other memorial and deleted mine, so you might want to check it to be sure I understood everything correctly.
