Bio

I have found tracing my genealogy a most rewarding project in my retirement for the past 3 years. Find A Grave has provided a wealth of knowledge on my ancestors, including links, biographies, pictures, and actually connecting with a few distant relatives. I have attended several genealogy classes, and most often Find A Grave is mentioned as an excellent site on the Internet. Some names I am researching are: Gibb, Hanson, Anderson, Hughes, Giers, Betenson, and Cornwall. I am now assuming maintentance of some of these memorials so I can link my ancestors together.

We are the chosen. In each family, there is one (or more) who seems called to find the ancestors. To put flesh on their bones and make them live again, to tell the family story and to feel that somehow they know and approve. Doing genealogy is not a cold gathering of facts, but instead, breathing life into all who have gone before. We are the storytellers of the tribe.
