Bio and Links
Bio Photo First things first. YES, you may use any of the photos I have taken for your family history, etc.

Secondly, I will no longer be sending edit tabs for any memorials created and maintained by the Maher family #48361264. This person(s) is adding people only to increase their numbers, has the information right in front of them from the obituary, and does nothing with it, does not bother to link parents, children, etc. even when they are in the same cemetery. They slap up the name and dates, and move on to the next, recently dead person. I will not do their work for them. I don't believe in hoarding names. Sorry to the relatives of the thousands they are entering with no information.

Thank you for the photo of Frank Hamilton's gravestone in Oakwood Cemetery, Dixon, IL! My cousin finally knows the year his grandfather died.

Maher's
Yes, I agree with you on this. I've visited cemeteries all across northern Illinois from Chicago to Galena, and this Maher family seems to only input death dates, literally leaving out dates of birth, place, etc. On top of that, they tend to transfer many random memorials that they create to Find a Grave so people cannot ask for a transfer. I've tried contacting them, among other members like this, and have been ignored, sadly. I just wanted you to know that you're not alone on this.

RE: Charles Seidel's
Actually both Charles's are listed on the 1880 census as son's. Charles Franklin went by C.Frank
So I believe that they are both still connected. On Charles Franklin Seidel's memorial page a note lists that the tombstone has an inscription with his mothers name as Catherine Leighner. I know that the death certificate lists his mother as Catherine Leighner and father as Charles G. Seidel but I believe that has been transcibed incorrectly and should be Feighner for his mother. So if his mother is Catherine or Anna Mary I do not know. I will try and order an original death certificate and see what I can read. Hold off on connecting this Charles for now. Thank you!!

Charles Frank and Charles Seidel
Sorry and thank you for noticing my error. Charles William is the correct child. Charles F. is listed on your 1880 census which is attached to his page.
