Bio

My primary area of interest is Blackjack Cemetery in Simpson County (Franklin), Kentucky, as nearly 200 years of direct family ancestry rests, there (and to this day, descendants of the 19th century Bunch families still maintain a presence in the Franklin-Simpson area).

If anyone needs clarification on the Bunch family burials at Blackjack Cemetery listed on Find A Grave, I can most certainly help, as I try to visit that cemetery at least once, every year. I recently updated the memorials of those Bunch's (and other related family members) buried at Blackjack Cemetery to make your genealogy research on our Bunch family easier.

Conversely, if you have any additional genealogical information which connects to the Bunch family burials at Blackjack or Roark family burials at Shady Grove (both cemeteries are located in Simpson County, Kentucky), I would be more than happy to hear from you.

Additional areas/groups of interest to me are:

- Members of the Bunch/Roark families originally from Simpson County, Kentucky who are buried in various locations in Texas
- Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, Missouri (I am currently photographing those headstones surrounding my in-laws' burial site in Section 1J -- while photographing, I will add any missing memorials to Find A Grave)
- Members of the Dundon/Southard families of Springfield (Clark County), Ohio

As I now reside in the 622XX zip code, I am available for your gravesite photography needs within a 5-mile radius.

Please keep in mind that while most VA-maintained gravesites are properly-uploaded/documented on Find A Grave, many of them have never been photographed or visited by voulnteer photographers, as there are over 204,000 interments at JBNC, alone. Also, if your loved one recently passed-away, photography of their new/updated headstone may be delayed by local Find A Grave volunteer photographers, as JBNC normally experiences a 6-week backlog on the installation of headstones for new burials as well as the replacement of removed headstones to add the recently-deceased spouse's information.

Currently, many of Find A Grave memorials under my direct management are members of my family, meaning the deceased is related to me in one way or another. Of those memorials under my stewardship who are not related to me (such as the random memorials I am adding from JBNC), the only ones I will transfer to another manager is (in accordance with Find A Grave guidelines) to a direct descendant of the deceased, such as a child or (great) grandchild who expresses interest directly to me in managing that memorial long-term.

I recently completed a project documenting/photographing all Bunch burials at JBNC. To date, all Bunch burials at JBNC, as well as other national cemeteries, and other locations around the country where the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs may have played a role in the burial of the deceased, have been identified. Of these Bunch burials, as far as I know, none are closely-related to me. If you meet the Find A Grave criteria for transfers, I will gladly transfer those memorials to you.

In the meantime, I sincerely hope you find who you are looking-for.

Thanks for stopping-by...
