Please keep in mind that while most VA-maintained gravesites are properly-uploaded/documented on Find A Grave, many of them have never been photographed or visited by voulnteer photographers, as there are over 204,000 interments at JBNC, alone. Also, if your loved one recently passed-away, photography of their new/updated headstone may be delayed by local Find A Grave volunteer photographers, as JBNC normally experiences a 6-week backlog on the installation of headstones for new burials as well as the replacement of removed headstones to add the recently-deceased spouse's information.

Currently, many of Find A Grave memorials under my direct management are members of my family, meaning the deceased is related to me in one way or another. Of those memorials under my stewardship who are not related to me (such as the random memorials I am adding from JBNC), the only ones I will transfer to another manager is (in accordance with Find A Grave guidelines) to a direct descendant of the deceased, such as a child or (great) grandchild who expresses interest directly to me in managing that memorial long-term.

I recently completed a project documenting/photographing all Bunch burials at JBNC. To date, all Bunch burials at JBNC, as well as other national cemeteries, and other locations around the country where the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs may have played a role in the burial of the deceased, have been identified. Of these Bunch burials, as far as I know, none are closely-related to me. If you meet the Find A Grave criteria for transfers, I will gladly transfer those memorials to you.
