My name is Mary Howard Frierson Shelton. I was born in Clarksville,Tn.in 1953. On Jan.12th, 1954 I was adopted by John Dawson Frierson,III and his wife Dorothy Lee Haston Frierson. I am an only child.In 1971 I graduated from Columbia Central High School and went to Ms.State College for Women now Ms.University for Women (The W). My adoption sparked an interest in genealogy. In 2009 I started my tree on ancestry.com. I found out about Find A Grave and became a member.
