ADDING MEMORIES OF OUR LOVED ONES A PIECE AT A TIME... I TRY TO ADD BITS OF INFO TO THE PEOPLE I AM ABLE. TO HELP FUTURE GENERATIONS KNOW WHO THE FAMILY THEY ARE LOOKING AT WERE, AND TO LINK THEM TOGETHER.

Your tombstone stands among the rest;
Neglected and alone.
The name and date are chiseled out
On polished, marbled stone.
It reaches out to all who care
It is too late to mourn.
You did not know that I exist
You died and I was born.
Yet each of us are cells of you
In flesh, in blood, in bone.
Our blood contracts and beats a pulse
Entirely not our own.
Dear Ancestor, the place you filled
One hundred years ago
Spreads out among the ones you left
Who would have loved you so.
I wonder if you lived and loved,
I wonder if you knew
That someday I would find this spot,
And come to visit you.

~ Walter Butler Palmer (1906)

IF YOU HAVE ANY CORRECTIONS OR INFO PLEASE LET ME KNOW, AND BE RESPECTFUL, BECAUSE ANYTHING ELSE WILL GET YOU NOWHERE!!! I'VE SEEN SOME PRETTY OUT THERE MESSAGES ON THE MEMORIALS THAT HAVE BEEN ADDED BY WONDERFUL CONTRIBUTORS, AND THAT'S REALLY SAD, AS THEY ARE ONLY TRYING TO HELP THE RESPECTFUL PEOPLE MEMORIALIZE THEIR FAMILIES.

LIVE, LAUGH, LOVE, AND BE BLESSED!! P

There's an old saying that goes something like this: "A man dies three deaths; once when he takes his last breath, the second time when the last person who knew him dies, and lastly when his name is no longer spoken." - AUTHOR UNKNOWN
