I've been hooked on this genealogy habit since I retired in late 1999.|
Becoming a contributor to FAG has reinvigorated me as I work to get each individual I research documented for the benefit of future generations. I have found the contributors here to be a great bunch of people.
The FAG editors have graciously transferred over six thousand memorials to my account from that of valued deceased contributor Superkentman. I will be updating these memorials with additional information gathered in my research and post info received from others. I'll also gladly transfer any of these memorials for which I have no additional information or direct interest.
So far I have been able to cross reference over 25,000 individuals in my tree file to their memorials on Find A Grave!
See my tree file on RootsWeb shown below.

I see you have many requests there. I assume they are not fulfilled? If not, it is a two step process as I'll need to visit the office for locations first...a really BIG cemetery . I will be gone from home for a week in March as need to attend my father's memorial in TX., but will try to get to RB before that...weather permitting!

yeah...lucky to have gotten to Hopkinton before our blizzard( even as I type!). Found Mr. Gavitt and other Gavitts, too.
After spending 2 1/2 hours out there on a very cold day, I came home to enter the info only to find many of the requests had been fulfilled months ago ! Very annoying that "Find" had not upgraded request list. And, now using I Phone for photos...which are better quality, but, had trouble getting the photos to upload in proper alignment. The forum was able to help me figure it out, though. After this snow fall abates and the cemeteries are accessible again, I'll be out again. best regards, Diane

Hi, Jon...I'm back in the hunt again . Family losses kept me away from F-A-Grave .There is no stone for Charlotte Maxson . Her maiden name is given as " Coon".
I should be able to locate John Gavitt, though . best regards, Diane

I think that is the one that I had to delete because I have a William Green but the dates didn't match. I also noticed that the Lamphier family seems to be spelled LANphier on the stones. You have LAMphier. I still have more photos to get through so I might have some more for you.

I looked back to see if I have posted any information with the picture - this is what we noted when we posted the picture:
No personal headstone for him was located. Perhaps he was buried with his parents. His father is in plot #1, his mother #2 and the tree sits squarely in #3.
Hope that helps.

Thank you Jon

Would it be alright if I use your Head Stone pictures for my Ancestral Quest and Ancestry Files?
|caroline||Maxson O Livermore|
Thank you for the info along with Clarissa Livermore info which I have added to their bio. If these are family I will be happy to transfer to you.

I went back and looked at the information listed for Fernando Maxson and noticed that you did not have a place or date of birth for his wife, Catherine Almira Clark. She was born in Sidney, NY on June 13, 1831 and married Fernadndo in Knoxville, PA, Aug. 8, 1861
I always wondered why Fernando had a Spanish first name and assumed that one of his parents had Spanish heritage, but the information on your site proved me wrong. Thanks again for your research.
