Bio

Genealogist and Researcher currently residing in Oxford, UK. Born and raised in West Virginia and Virginia, USA. 40 Something and counting :)

I have been researching for over 27 years and I am happy to share with fellow researchers.

I have been DNA tested and am happy to take part in surname projects. I am also an adoptee and research both my biological and adopted paternal lines. Naturally I can only get involved in surname projects that pertain to my biological lineage.

I am the caretaker of memorials belonging to my relatives and I am the creator of memorials that pertain to my hobby of buying old victorian photo albums and trying to repatriate them to their proper families. I also purchase single photos with names inscribed on the back and create memorials for those in the photographs if I can locate burial info. If you see a photograph of your direct line ancestor, please get in touch, I am happy to provide you the original whilst retaining a copy for myself. If I have already parted with the photograph I am happy to pass your details to whomever I passed the photo/album to.

I have also begun a personal project of placing all of the burials of St Andrews Headington, Oxford on findagrave. I work on it when I can and chose St Andrews because it is the nearest graveyard to my home. There are literally thousands of burials from the early 1600s to 1900 when the cemetery was closed for further burials. Be patient if you are looking for a specific burial.
SURNAMES: Martin, Marks, Weyen, Cary, Spinks, Wright, Johnson, Hippert, Shryock, Mytinger, Hodges, Rodgers, Morgan, Scheer, Hayes, Griffith, Bland, Eucker, Woods, Clowser, McCoy, Muller
