I am a volunteer cemetery stone photographer for F.A.G. and love taking pictures and would like to help you out if I can. I myself am working on my family surnames: Demler, Reichert, Wilhelm, MacDonald/McDonald, Francis.|
If you wish to respond to a photo I have left on a memorial, please leave me a message on here with the person's name and the cemetery.

|Ellen Herrmann||RE: Any help?|
I don't have any suggestions for you because I've run into the same problem myself. My Great-Great Grandfather remarried after my Great-Great Grandmother died and that second marriage lasted only two years before the second wife died. Someone from her family started a memorial page for him with includes some erroneous information. He and his first wife, my Great-Great Grandmother had 13 children and this person added a statement that they only had 6 children. I implored them to transfer the page to me because I could add information and correct what was already on the memorial, but came away with no response, just like you. This person was related to his second wife, but they had no children as they were elderly when they married, a second marriage for both and they were both nearly 70 years old. I even wrote to "Find A Grave" but didn't receive any help there either.

I see you added Lester Galas but it's being maintained by Find A Grave #8. I can't get in touch with that person. Lester was my husbands uncle by marriage. Lester's wife was Stella (06122888). How can I get the memorial transferred to me so that I can maintain it? I would like to connect them to her siblings and her parents.

Hi You placed a tombstone photo for Gottfried Kolpack buried at Sweeney Cemetery in NT. Would it be possible to use this Photo on my family tree? I would be glad to give you credit for ownership of this wonderful gem. Happy Digging from Alaska, Patsy Hittle Gore
|Patrick Yurek||Christian F Walck|
Do you have any idea how I can find out who Christian F Walck was and why, apparently "Walck" Road was named after him?
I grew up on Walck Road in North Tonawanda and on a recent visit back home I actually visited the cemetery on Walck Rd near Erie Ave and discovered (after 50 years) that one of the graves there was Christian Walck's ... curiosity is getting the best of me - he must have done something worthy of naming a street after him, but I can't find anything on the internet.
You can reply to me at my personal email PatrickYurek@yahoo.com (I probably won't remember this site for more than a day or two)
By the way, by any chance is Doug your brother? (I went to school - Wurlitzer, Reszel and NTHS) with a Donna and Doug Wilhelm ... (more curiosity)

Do you mean the obit on Ancestry? It mentions his wife Georgean, as you see in the photo in your memorial. And the dates are right......
|Kitty Lambert-Rudd||Re; Edmond R Kabalan, Memorial# 132508590|
I don't know if you are interested in posting obituaries to the memorials that you have but I search out and transcribe ones I find then send them off to the creator when there is an established memorial... if you prefer I not send them to you just let me know and I will stop. If you wish to copy my transcription (below) and post you may do so. I know the value of an obit... small bits of info can open a door.
Happy Stone Hunting!
