My Sayre ancestors came from Leighton Buzzard, England and removed to the Colonies in the 1600s with old Thomas Sayre my 9th great grandfather heading up the adventures. Thomas and his brothers moved on from Lynn, Massachusetts to establish the settlement of Southhampton, Long Island, NY and the Sayres spread from there.

My Sayre line established themselves in New Jersey and in the early years of the 19th Century to Saratoga County, New York where most of them are at rest there now.

I have quite a bit of information on those people who make up the memorials I manage. Always willing to share.
