Researching my own family history and try to capture photos whenever I'm near a cemetery in my tree, but most of what I need is on the East Coast. Any pictures of headstones I have photographed have no copyrights attached and are free to be used as desired.

Bertie Austin Edit
Hi, Ralph,

I see that you're at the same crossroads I reached. I, too, believed that this Minnie and this Bert went together, but as I dug into the children, I realized that this is the wrong Bert.

It's been a while since I took a look at them. How strong is your information? Mine was weak enough that I had to back out.

This is family for me, but I really have no more information than what I've got out there. He was one of my dad's great uncles.

Or perhaps you're looking for the "right" Bertie and Minnie? :)

lmk. I'm always glad to hear from others who came at this from a different angle.

I would love to add the photo. I would greatly appreciate it if you would make a memorial request. It would help me towards my 800th memorial photo. Also, a story behind this headstone. When I located it it was buried at least 4 inches below the surface, totally covered. I had to wait almost two weeks for the grounds keepers dig it up and reset it. I also found one next to it with the same situation.

I saw that you had requested a photo of a head stone for Greenacres Memorial Park, Ferndale, Whatcom, Washington, USA. I noticed that they have this message posted on the look up page....

Cemetery notes and/or description:
Prefer photo requests to be emailed to them. Their email is:

You may want to re do your request if you have not received it yet
