Now I'm helping my wife's family reconnect with their ancestral roots, as I explore branches on their side of my son's family tree. My son has ancestors who settled in Kentucky, Tennessee, Georgia, North Carolina, Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, New York, Wisconsin, and Michigan. Some performed military service in WW2, WW1, the American Civil War (both sides), the War of 1812, the War for American Independence, the French and Indian War, and King Philip's War.
